Mix 93-1 CTCU Teacher Of The Week April 3rd

Mix 93-1 and CTCU are proud to recognize outstanding teachers from our East Texas classrooms!

This week's recipient is Mrs. Mount, a first grade teacher at Sabine Elementary in Kilgore.

Mrs. Mount was nominated by a parent of one of her students who had this to say about her:

Mrs. Mount has a heart as big as Dallas. My daughter says Mrs. Mount's class is so much fun that she does not want to come home. Mrs. Mount always has a smile on her face and always has nothing but positive things to say about her class. Every week Mrs. Mount posts pics of all of the different things her class does during the week to share with parents. Anytime my daughter is out sick or not feeling well, Mrs. Mount calls and checks on her even after school hours. I know her time is limited just as a teacher, so the idea that she take just a little extra time to check on my daughter means the world to a parent. My daughter has learned so much. She comes home daily teaching me the things that she has learned from that day. I hope you guys consider Mrs. Mount for teacher of the week. She has my daughter's heart and I can't think of any better way to show her what she means to us!
