Mix 93-1 has been a long time supporter of the Children's Miracle Network and CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital and Mix 93-1 has been honored by CMN and the hospital.

For more than two decades, Mix 93-1 has been hosting the annual Mix With Kids Children's Miracle Network Radiothon to benefit the pediatric services at CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. We commit at least 24 hours of specialized programming over a two day period focused on improving the lives of East Texas children by asking our listeners to call in and support this charitable outreach.

All funds that are pledged will stay right here in East Texas and will be combined with other fund raising initiatives that go toward funding new equipment for pediatric care - whether in the hospital or clinical setting or on an ambulance or air ambulance or through many other programs. It all benefits children of East Texas.

Recently the hospital renovated the entire children's wing and gave it many upgrades and modernized the equipment in the rooms and overall appearance of the hallways and patient rooms. At a recent CMN allocation meeting (where funds are distributed to the many different departments affected by pediatric patients) it was revealed that many long time CMN sponsors were recognized with special rooms within the children's wing.

Now if your child is ever admitted to CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital and they have to stay overnight or for an extended time, they could be staying in the room dedicated to Mix 93-1. This is an honor that we are extremely proud of.
