NFL History Made: Dallas Cowboys Achieve Two Scorigami Games In 2024-25 Season
We know the Dallas Cowboys have achieved many things during their time being the biggest team from Texas. While many players have achieved unbreakable records in the past, the 2024-25 NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys have done something that has never been done in the NFL, and that's finish TWO games this season with a final score that has never seen. Both at home at AT&T Stadium! Fans of NFL football might know this phenomena as "scorigami"
What exactly is "scorigami"?
Basically, a scorigami, occurs when an NFL game's final score is accomplished for the very first time. There's even a website called NFL Scorigami, where you can see the first and most recent times a game has ended in a certain score, ranging all the way from a score of 0-0 to the highest score of 72-41.
The Dallas Cowboys achieved a scorigami against the New Orleans Saints on September 15, 2024
In Week 2, the Dallas Cowboys would play at home against the New Orleans Saints & would lose with a score of 44-19. According to the Scorigami's Twitter (X) account, that has NEVER been done before until 2024 & it's the 1,086th unique score ever seen in the NFL.
The Dallas Cowboys achieved ANOTHER scorigami against the Detroit Lions on October 13, 2024.
Nearly a month later, the Cowboys at home played against the Detroit Lions in Week 6. If you saw the game, you know how the game went: Lions beat the Cowboys, 47-9. And, yes, this was the first time that THIS final score has ever occurred in the NFL.
Here are some Dallas Cowboys scorigiami games that they've won
- The Dallas Cowboys won against the Philadelphia Eagles on January 8, 2022 with a final score of 51-26. That became the 1,072nd unique score in the NFL.
- The Cowboys would beat the Indianapolis Colts on December 4, 2022 with a final score of 54-19. That became the 1,074th unique score in the NFL.
- So far the most recent scorigiami that involved the Cowboys winning happened on October 29, 2023; Dallas beat the L.A. Rams with a final score of 43-20. That score became the 1,079th unique score in the NFL.
There's still many more chances for the Cowboys to get another scorigami this year; we'll see if it happens again.
