‘No More Kardashian’ Petition

Social media is bringing a wave of change to governments and companies around the world and organizing protests as of late.  We've seen it in Egypt, the Occupy Wall Street movement, repeal of high bank fees by Bank of America and now if one group has its way, there will be no more Kardashians!

Now, I'm not a follower of any of the Kardashian programming on E!, but with the recent divorce announcement from Kim Kardashian, some feel her wedding to Kris Humphries was a publicity stunt and was staged for money from sponsors.

Now there's a movement to get E! to remove all Kardashian prgramming from the cable channel.  Cindy Snider, petition organizer, tells Yahoo TV,

“We feel these shows are mostly staged and place an emphasis on vanity, greed, promiscuity, vulgarity and over-the-top conspicuous consumption.”

So far there are more than 71,000 signatures on this online petition.
