This year we celebrate and honor the rich Railroad History of Texarkana with the 8th annual Railfest event this Saturday.

The 2019 Railfest features singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Parker McCollum with special guest the Dusty Rose Band. The Dusty Rose band will open the show at 7 p.m., followed by Parker hitting the stage at 9 p.m.

The Austin-based and Conroe native is always accompanied by an exciting stage band and has no problem satisfying Red Dirt Texas Country fans while adding a bluesy Americana flair to his presentation, without losing a single beat. An accomplished violinist, Parker picked up the guitar at 13-year-old and the harmonica at 15-year-old and has never looked back.

The 2019 Railfest has been moved to the Four States Fairgrounds Entertainment Center, due to inclement weather expected in our area on Saturday. Kicker 102-5 welcomes Parker McCollum with special guest the Dusty Rose Band.
