The Red Hot Chili Peppers only played a few shows in the U.S. this summer in support of their 11th album, The Getaway. However, they will rectify that in early 2017. Today (Sept. 19), they announced a 10-week tour of arenas throughout North America.

The rock veterans will begin on Jan. 5 at the AT&T Center in San Antonio and will conclude on March 18 at the Pepsi Live at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. They will be adding more dates in the future.

Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue will serve as the opener on all shows. Beginning with the Feb. 2 concert at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, their former drummer, Jack Irons, will join up with the tour as a second support act.

Pre-sale for fan club members begins Wednesday for all dates except the Los Angeles show, which will take place tomorrow. The sale to the general public commences on Friday, except for the San Antonio show, which is Saturday. Those who purchase tickets will be given a redemption code for a physical or digital copy of The Getaway. For full information, visit the band’s website.
