Restaurant in Colleyville, TX Serving Fair Food ALL THE TIME!
Fair season in the state of Texas is a big deal. There is so much to love about the vendor booths, carnival rides, and animals on display. It’s one of those traditions that you can always look forward to because everyone always has a great time. One of the biggest draws about going to the fair is, of course, the delicious fair food. But did you know there is a restaurant in Colleyville, Texas that serves up some of your favorite fair foods all year long?
The restaurant is called Café 26, it’s located just a few minutes west of the DFW airport, the address is 7171 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034. When I looked at their website I found that they used to be under the name Mother Clucker, and many of the menu items are chicken based, although there is a full menu of lots of fantastic food options. Maybe they aren’t the healthiest options, but if you’re trying to be good there is a salad on the menu too.

What About the Fair Food Options?
There are so many fair foods available, obviously, a smaller locally owned restaurant cannot serve up everything you would find at the fair. So, Café 26 really focuses on the desserts you would find at the fair. These options make me want to take a road trip this weekend.
Deep Fried Desserts
The deep-fried desserts on this menu might raise your cholesterol but the taste will make you not care. On the menu you can find a fried twinkie, fried Oreos, a fried ding dong, a fried snickers bar, a fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich, or their big mother funnel (funnel cake). You can choose one or go big and just order them all!
