Starved For Affection, Fluffy Is A Sweet One Looking For A New Family

One of the many joys of being a pet owner is knowing there's always unconditional love waiting for you at any time. When you have an animal that is your pet, you should return that love and affection as often as you can so they know you care for them. Unfortunately Fluffy didn't receive that love from her previous owner.
Before this seven-year-old Pyrenees mix arrived at Pets Fur People in Tyler, she never received love and affection from her owner. She is looking for that with her next fur-ever family. Now we will say Fluffy is a big dog and weighs one-hundred pounds. Gayle Helms, executive director at the Humane Society's Pets Fur People, believes that Fluffy would thrive in a quiet household and says she's sweet, gentle and wants nothing more than to be a couch potato!
Fluffy rarely barks, is quiet and laid back and likes to be the queen. She's not very fond of other dogs. Fluffy has been spayed, is current on starting vaccinations, including rabies, and has been microchipped for identification purposes. Fluffy will go home with a starter kit of food, a collar and leash and a certificate for half price on basic obedience from Tyler Obedience Training Club.
For additional information on adopting Fluffy call 903.597.2471 or check the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People website. Due to concerns over COVID-19, pet adoptions are currently being handled by appointments only. Check out the animals that are available for adoption. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. - closed for lunch 1 - 2 p.m. The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is the oldest brick and mortar no-kill shelter in East Texas. Pets Fur People offers dog boarding and routine vaccinations, except for rabies, to the public for dogs and cats. Follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
