‘Supergirl’ Takes Off on The CW (Literally) in First Season 2 Teaser
Supergirl got a later start on production than its CW counterparts, perhaps owing to its Vancouver move, but at last, Kara is finally taking off for Season 2. See for yourself, as Supergirl offers a slick new teaser for its newest episodes, with just a dash of Man of Steel.
In lieu of any real footage from the October 10 premiere (for now), the CW offered its first real teaser for Supergirl Season 2 with Kara literally taking off from a giant “The CW.” Still, pretty slo-mo skyscapes are always pretty.
Elsewhere, in addition to the introduction of Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman, Lynda Carter’s POTUS, Floriana Lima as Maggie Sawyer and Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor, Supergirl Season 2 has cast several notable roles that include Metallo, Cat Grant’s pseudo-replacement Snapper Carr, Sharon Leal as Miss Martian and Chris Wood as pod occupant Mon-El. Still is how the Maiden of Might ends up in a musical, or that epic four-way superhero crossover.
Supergirl has plenty other questions to answer on the road to Season 2's October 10 premiere, but what do we make of the latest look?
