It kicked off today in Canton, First Monday Trade Days! It's the time of the month when vendors and shoppers alike descend upon the small East Texas town to sell their creations, antiques and more to shoppers coming from around the world!

Canton's First Monday Trade Days is an event unlike any other in Texas or the world! This gigantic 'flea market' offers a little bit of something for just about everyone.

There are so many things to do in East Texas this weekend, but you'll want to be careful though because your outdoor activities could be ruined because of rain Saturday afternoon and evening and into Sunday.  The threat is there so be prepared if you take part in any of these East Texas activities this weekend.

This weekend looks like it's going to be perfect weekend to get out and stroll the thousands of vendors in Canton during First Monday Trade Days!

It happens 12 times a year in Canton, and this weekend marks the fourth time this year that First Monday Trade Days is happening. This monthly happening is one of my wife's favorite destinations for the weekend. I think it's because a lot of shopping is involved and she's looking for new ways and things to decorate the house with--  and the weather is nice, too!
