Relax and let the current carry you downstream, but don't fall asleep and miss the pick up point!

If you're interested in tubing, swimming, or just sitting on the bank and listening to the water flow by, you'll find a great Texas river destination here.

Also, contests and prizes throughout the day, face painting, FREE snow cones and cotton candy all afternoon, bounce houses, and inflatable games, too!

I'm okay for now, but come July--Should I hide in the shade? Check. Ice water? Check. Consume as many popsicles as possible? Got it. Any other suggestions?

Make no mistake, floating the river sounds like a good ol’ fashioned relaxing time similar to man-made lazy river rides at water parks and it definitely can be, but I’m here to tell you (from experience) that the river can be ruthless and you want to make sure you’re fully prepared for it’s “tip you over and spit out all of your belongings” wrath.

Now go 'putt' a sweatshirt on because it's a lot cooler in here than it is outside!
