Texans are notoriously proud, so how could I resist sharing this awesome tweet showing a Texas medal count!

The tweet shows an image of a television displaying medal counts with Texas listed as a country and earning three gold medals, two silver and two bronze. Pretty impressive, at that count Texas is in third place!

Notably, two of the 'Final Five' are Texas residents. Simone Biles is a resident of Spring, and Madison Kocian is a Dallasite. Each have already earned a gold medal in the Team competition, and are slated to compete as individuals.

Kocian will compete in the final round on the uneven bars at 12 p.m. on Sunday, and we'll see a lot more of Simone Biles.

Biles will compete in the individual all-around at 2 p.m. today. She competes in the vault on Sunday at 12 p.m. and balance beam on Monday at 12 p.m. Finally she wil defend her three world gold medals during the floor exercise on Tuesday at noon.
