East Texas' Love For The Children's Miracle Network Is Amazing

When it comes to children, East Texas has nothing but love for them and it shows.

Mix 93-1's Lucky Larry and Mandee Montana hosted the 24th annual Mix With Kids Children's Miracle Network Radiothon to raise money for pediatric services at CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital and clinics throughout East Texas.

Thursday and Friday, August 11th and 12th East Texans called in to make a monetary donation to help bring premiere care and equipment to East Texas to care for kids in the hospital system from birth all the way up to 18 years of age.

During the radiothon, CMN Miracle Kids, their families, doctors, nurses, hospital support staff and East Texas families that have benefited from the services that the Children's Miracle Network provides our children asked you to call in and make that donation or pledge and when the phones finally stopped ringing on our 24th annual radiothon, East Texas pledged

$31,968.00

The beauty of the Mix With Kids Children's Miracle Network Radiothon is that all the money that is donated will stay here in East Texas and will be used to purchase valuable health care equipment for our children at CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital and clinics throughout East Texas. Those funds will help the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), the special needs clinic, children’s center, mother unit, ambulance services, emergency room services, Flight For Life and more.

Mix 93-1 would like to say thanks to the many volunteers that helped make this year an amazing one. More importantly though, Mix 93-1 and CMN wishes to thank the many families that have benefited from Children’s Miracle Network and for them allowing us to share their stories throughout the Mix With Kids Children's Miracle Network Radiothon.
