(New Braunfels, Texas) Just when it seems like every food combination has already been invented, there is a new Texas food truck that is going viral with a tasty new menu option.

The thought of using waffles as buns for a burger seems like a good idea, and I know I am not the only person thinking this way because The Hungry Waffle in New Braunfels is getting wildly popular online and at their food truck location.

The Hungry Waffle Opened Recently

If you’re wondering why you’ve never heard of this food truck it is because it’s still very new. According to My San Antonio the owners Jennifer Casillas and Adam Tekin just opened in New Braunfels on January 12th.

They heard so many people talking about wanting a place to go for delicious waffles and while they aren’t open 24-hours a day like Waffle House, they have customers constantly coming back for more.

The food truck is located at: 1760 S BUSINESS IH 35, New Braunfels, TX, United States, 78130

More Than Just Burgers on Waffles

They offer a chicken sandwich between waffles, which just makes sense, and sounds delicious. They have a Philly Cheese steak, BBQ Brisket, or a more classic Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwich too.

If you have kids, they will love this place as there are sweeter menu items too that include putting ice cream or cereal as a topping.

It’s such a fun option for the whole family to grab food and make some memories at the same time.

Although I will saw I have one suggestion for The Hungry Waffle. They should really add a waffle maker that makes Texas shaped waffles, somehow those waffles always taste best.
