City of Tyler to Show ‘How To Train Your Dragon’ for Free This Weekend

The Tyler Parks & Recreation department will continue its Free Movie In The Park series by showing "How To Train Your Dragon" at 8 p.m. Saturday at Bergfeld Parks' amphitheater.

"How To Train Your Dragon" is an animated movie starring the voices of Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler and Christopher Mintz-Plasse and is rated PG.

In the movie a young Viking ventures out into battle a mysterious dragon with his invention, but ends up not being able to slay it and instead he ends up striking up a new friendship and learns that people have misjudged the dragons. The two end up fighting the ignorance plaguing the world.

Thanks to the Tyler Parks Y Recreation Department, the movie is free!  Just bring your drinks, snacks, blankets, lawn chairs and whatever else you like to take to the movies and have a great time with your family.
