Once the baby comes, Moms have to balance a whole new life with existing things like work, school, relationships, grocery shopping -- and the list goes on.

What celebrity do-it-all Mom is the most inspiring?

Moms in a new survey picked Reese Witherspoon as the most together-mom.  She balances a successful career with family time pretty darn well.

No one mentioned the Octomom.  Hmm.

The U.S. Census Bureau says just four percent of today’s families fall into its definition of “traditional” by having a working father and a stay-at-home mom with kids under 18 - that according to a new study by Women at NBCU.   49 percent of moms say “traditional” is the parenting style they aspire to have though.

A funny fact that popped up in the survey:

  • 61 percent of dads say they split the household chores and childcare equally with their partners, but only 27 percent of moms feel the household work is evenly split.
  • I guess it depends on who you ask!  The definition of what "even" is, apparently is more vague than we think.

And 31 percent of moms admit to lingering longer in the shower, they take longer running errands, and they take the long way during a commute to get a bit more “alone time” during the day.  Anyway we can get it, right moms?

Might we also suggest a nice long listen to Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Adele, and Daughtry.  They're a nice outlet, and put us in a good mood too.
