Being selected to go on the Kidd's Kids trip for a week at Walt Disney World in Florida is a really big deal, especially when you're eleven years old! When she found out she was going on a trip to the Magical Kingdom, eleven year old Krystalin Simoneaux of Tyler was beyond excited! Krystalin along with her brother, mom and dad go to go on the trip along with nearly fifty other kids that have a life changing or life altering condition to Disney last November thanks to the generosity of KiddNation. The annual Kidd's Kids trip is 100% funded by KiddNation so that these families do not have to pay for anything while on the trip - airfare, lodging, meals, park admission, transportation, souvenirs and other things are paid for.

Yesterday (October 17th) was the one day that The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show set aside to raise money for the trip. Kidd's Kids day was happening online and on location in East Texas at the Tyler and Longview Chick-fil-A and Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers locations. While Mix 93-1 was hanging out at the Raising Cane's on S. Broadway, Krystalin Simoneaux and her mom stopped by to talk to me about what it was like going on the Kidd's Kids trip!

Meet Krystalin Simoneaux and read about her here. You can make a donation to Kidd's Kids anytime online.
