It's been a long road for the candidates and that road ends this evening. They've been out there pounding the pavement, shaking hands, debating, hanging up their political signs all in an effort to swing the votes in their favor. Although in my case, I've never once shook the hands of a candidate, I did watch them debate, nor did I put a political sign in my yard, but that didn't stop me from voting this morning.

Texas Voters Get Help From New App

Maybe you've got a reminder for just about everything set on your phone. Now you can set a reminder to vote!

A new app is available for Texas voters that reminds you to vote, lets you check to make sure you're registered, and helps you check for polling locations in Smith County, or any neighboring county where you might be registered to vote. It was just released this week by the Secretary of State's Office, and we've got the link to go download it.

American Idol Uses Facebook For Voting

When American Idol debuted 9 years ago, we decided that Kelly Clarkson was going to be our first American Idol by voting using our phones, then a few years ago Idol producers let us vote by sending it in via text message and now this year not only can you vote by phone and text we'll be able to do it via a Facebook app!
