With fall arriving soon, so are the fun activities, festivals and get togethers that nearly every East Texan loves to be a part of!  We've got you covered when it comes to the biggest festivals being hosted in East Texas and beyond!

  • Gregg County Fair - Longview

    September 7 - 15

    With roots dating back to 1949, this fair has fun for the entire family with rides, contests, live music, the Miss Gregg County pageant and more!

  • Uncle Fletch Hamburger Festival - Athens

    September 22

    A proclamation was issued by the Texas Legislature naming Athens as the Official Home Of The Hamburger! The entire city will be celebrating one of the world's most popular foods!

  • East Texas State Fair - Tyler

    September 21 - 30

    For more than 100 years the fair has been providing scholarships to East Texas students. One of the largest events in East Texas during the fall, this fair has it all! Fair food, carnival rides, entertaining shows, live music, livestock shows along with many other entertaining shows.

  • Fire Ant Festival - Marshall

    October 13

    The pesky ant that causes trouble will be the center of attention during this Marshall event complete with live music, childrens area with inflatables, fun run and 5k, contests, vendors and more!

  • Country Fest - Lindale

    October 13

    Celebrating the harvest season, the event takes place in beautiful downtown Lindale and will feature carnival games, plenty of food, car show, a 5k and more activities.

  • Country Fest - Mt. Vernon

    October 13

    Dating back to 1974, this festival has everything you'd expect a festival to have! Artists, live entertainment, games, car show, door prizes and lots of food!

  • Edom Arts Festival - Edom

    October 13 & 14

    Edom has been celebrating art, crafts live music and awesome food since 1972!

  • Yamboree - Gilmer

    October 17 - 20

    Awesome carnival rides, the Queen's Coronation, livestock show, barn dance, live music, food contests and more have drawn thousands to downtown Gilmer since 1935 to celebrate the yam!

  • Texas Rose Festival - Tyler

    October 18 - 21

    Tyler is known as the rose capital, so why not have a festival to celebrate and honor this distinction! The Texas Rose Festival features the queen's coronation, Rose Parade, arts, crafts and quilting fair, and many other socialite activities.

  • Hot Pepper Festival - Palestine

    October 27

    If you love hot peppers then this is the must attend festival for you this fall!

  • Hopkins County Fall Festival - Sulphur Springs

    October 21 - 28

    Time for a good 'ole county fair in Sulphur Springs complete with carnival rides, food and many other activities!

  • Feral Hog Festival - Ben Wheeler

    October 27

    One of the most unique festivals in the state, much less the country, you can experience a hog parade, pageant, cook-off and more!

  • Red, White And Blue Festival - Bullard

    November 3rd
  • Heritage Syrup Festival - Henderson

    November 10

    Thousands flock to downtown Henderson for this sweet festival that features syrup, food, live entertainment, crafts, carnival rides, car show along with many unique and antique displays.

  • Texas State Railroad - Polar Express - Palestine

    November 17 - December 27

    Live out this timeless story along the historic Texas State Railroad with your children. Several trips a day depart from the Palestine Depot, check the official website for departure day and times.
