Are You Owed Money or Property from the State of Texas?

I was reading this morning that Jason Mraz has some unclaimed money waiting for him in the state of West Virginia according to the state treasurer there.  It's believed the money is tied to a concert that was held there a couple of years ago.  I've always heard there was a list like this out there so I went searching to see if I had any money coming to me from the great state of Texas!

I found the list of Texas Unclaimed Property online thanks to Texas Comptroller Susan Combs and when I put in my name WOW, there's a bunch of me here in East Texas alone that are due a lot of money or property!  After looking at the list, I found that my dad has quite a bit of unclaimed property too (because we share the same name - I'm a Jr.).  Unfortunately, I am not owed anything, but those in East Texas that share my name need to step up and claim their property!

What I'd like to know is if your name appears on the list and how many times!  Then it will probably surprise you too to see how many other people share your same name.  Let me know by leaving them in the comment section below.
