I've always wanted to learn to decorate cookies more beautifully. Every time I sit down to try dipping and spreading and bedazzling the sugar cookie before me, I have tons of fun, but it's a semi-disaster. Similar to one of the "NAILED IT" Pinterest moments.

Also, at the end of the month, "Day of the Dead" celebrations will be going on, this seems like an ideal opportunity to do something fun and a bit out of the ordinary with your family and friends. Check out this 'Sugar Skull' cookie decorating workshop coming up October 29 at Kiepersol's Salt Kitchen in Tyler, from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m., hosted by Juju's Cookie Decorating Workshops. Everyone is welcome, aged 6 years of age and above.

You'll be given six cookies, either Vanilla-Brown Sugar and White-Almond, to decorate and will receive instruction on how to make your cookies extra pretty using Juju's signature Royal-Glaze icing. The best part? You get to take them home to enjoy--although you may find they're too pretty to eat. ;) You'll have access to all the tools you need and you get a covered cookie box so it's easy to get them home.

They do ask that you get there just a bit earlier than the scheduled time to make sure you can check in and chill out before class begins promptly at 6:30.

Other important tidbits of info? You will have the opportunity to buy more decorated cookies and/or refreshments at the workshop.
