It's a perfect ending to a perfect season for Longview Lobo football!

There wasn't a single team in the district that could stop the Longview Lobo's from obtaining their goal they set back during summer practice. The goal of becoming State Champions! They completed that goal right before Christmas and now that they're champions, it's time to celebrate all of the hard work this team put forth to win the State Championship.

The Lobo State Championship parade will be Wednesday, January 9th in downtown Longview beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of N. Green St and E. Whaley St. The parade will head toward the Gregg County Courthouse turning on to N. Center and then on to E. Methvyn and ending on First St.

There will be close to forty floats in the parade of champions and some 4000 commemorative footballs will be thrown out to fans throughout the parade route. Members of the Longview ISD School Board will be in the parade along with the band, twirlers, members from the Class of 1937 and 1979, the Dog Pound, the Longview Lobo football team and more!

Before the celebration begins, there will be a pre-parade celebration at Heritage Plaza beginning at 5:30 p.m.
