Meet Sammie — Pet of the Week

Sammie is a two year-old large breed dog that is available for adoption at the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People in Tyler.

She weighs 52 pounds but wants to be a lap dog. Sammie plays well with other dogs and children. She is a very happy girl – Sammie looks like she is smiling all the time. Best of all Sammie is house trained.

Sammie has been spayed, is current on starting vaccinations including rabies and has been micro-chipped for identification purposes. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 am until 5 pm - closed for lunch 1-2 pm.

The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is a selective admission no kill animal sanctuary. They offer dog boarding and routine vaccinations except for rabies to the public for dogs and cats.
