This week's recipient is Haygan Summers of Gilmer Elementary in Gilmer.

Mix 93-1 and Half Price Books are proud to recognize Mrs. Summers, a 2nd grade ELA teacher at Gilmer Elementary in Gilmer. Mrs. Summers was nominated by one of her peers who had this to say about her:

Mrs. Summers loves her students, this is her second year to teach. She wants her students to have a love of reading, so she reads to her kids everyday. She is funny and you can tell she loves her job. I think she deserves to be teacher of the week because she is new to teaching and she shows love for her students.
