This week's recipient is Dallas Stone of Marshall Junior High in Marshall.

Mix 93-1 and Half Price Books are proud to recognize Mr. Stone, an 8th grade U.S. history teacher at Marshall Junior High In Marshall. Mr. Stone was nominated by one of his student who had this to say about him:

Mr. Stone makes history enjoyable. It went from being my least favorite subject to one of my favorites. He cares about his students and I can tell he really loves teaching us. When I go in his classroom and spend the class period with him, I walk out knowing so much more than I did an hour before. Mr. Stone even plays the guitar for us out in the car rider drop-off in the mornings (which my mom is a big fan of). He was my teacher in 7th grade and I am so glad that he is my teacher again this year! I really hope you choose him for teacher of the week!
