Thank You East Texas For A Successfull Kidd’s Kids Day 2019

East Texas once again responded to the call to support Kidd's Kids and the annual trip to Walt Disney World!

This past Wednesday (August 28th), Mix 93-1 along with The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show took some time out of the day to raise money for Kidd's Kids. The day was dedicated to raise money to send 40 families on a trip to Walt Disney World in November. The trip is completely paid for by the generosity of KiddNation. While on the trip the families will not have to pay for transportation, airfare, meals, lodging, park passes, souvenirs and more - it's all covered thanks to your support of Kidd's Kids.

The Mix 93-1 staff was scattered throughout East Texas set up 'drive thru' style collecting donations from 6a - 9a at Tyler and Longview Chick-fil-A locations from 6a - 9a and then from 10a - 1p, Mix 93-1 was at Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers in Tyler accepting donations.

At the end of the day, Mix listeners donated $3223.27 to Kidd's Kids at our five drop off locations.

This is a fantastic total but it doesn't reflect the true total because hundreds of you went to eat at Raising Cane's where they were donating 15% of their total sales to Kidd's Kids!

After totaling up all the donations from the rest of KiddNation that called in donations, texted in a donation, made a donation online and on-site locations around the nation in addition to all the other fund raising initiatives, The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show revealed this morning that the total amount raised this year during Kidd's Kids day surpassed $XXX,000!

I am very proud to be an East Texan and thank you to each one of you who donated literally a penny to thousands of dollars, every cent counts and makes a difference!
