VetFest 2019 At The Cannery In Lindale September 28

We have so much to be grateful for as citizens of this nation--freedom, opportunity, safety. These are just a few things that, frankly, many of us can take for granted. However, those gifts and privileges have been guarded and protected by our veterans. Without them, where would we be? One shivers to think about it. The very least we can do for those who give so much is to do all we can to make their lives easier.

BRAVE Texas is a non-profit organization "dedicated to helping our veterans in East Texas." They are always looking for ways to bring awareness about the needs of our vets and aim to do what they can to raise funds to help them, including through community events.

One such event is coming up this Saturday, September 28, from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., at The Cannery in Lindale. Get tickets and learn more via their Facebook event here. You're invited to come enjoy live music all throughout the day, starting with the National Anthem and flag line.

In addition, enjoy the vendor and resource booths, inflatable obstacle course for the kids, corn-hole tournament with cash prizes, and food trucks for when you work up an appetite. Best part? The proceeds go to benefit the veterans of East Texas.
