Happy National Cat Day from George and Tammy [PHOTOS]

Today is National Cat Day, and my two cats wanted to wish you a very good Wednesday from their lazy perch.

Say hello to George, the darling Halloween kitty, and Tammy in the stripes. These two have been with me through a lot of ups and downs over the last eight years. We're pretty tight, and I'm fortunate to have them.

Oh and yes, George is a girl - Often referred to as 'Georgie.' I wasn't clear on her gender when I named her as a kitten, and it just sort of stuck.
