Mix 93-1 and Half Price Books are proud to recognize outstanding East Texas teachers!

This week's recipient is Ms. Comerford of Bruce Jr. High in Gilmer.

Mix 93-1 and Half Price Books are proud to recognize Ms. Comerford, an 8th grade English teacher at Bruce Jr. High School in Gilmer. Ms. Comerford was nominated by one of her peers, who had this to say about her:

This teacher always goes above and beyond. She has not only helped children in the class room but outside as well and does multiple extra activities with students. She has been a true inspiration to both past and present students. I get to witness students running into her in public and always talking about how she was their favorite teacher. I also get to hear heart warming stories of her going out of her way to help any student in need and how that one act of kindness in a class can change their whole life! She most definitely deserves this!
