Within two days, East Texas has two state high school football championship titles coming home! For the fifth time in school history, the Carthage Bulldogs are state champions! In the battle for Class 4A Division I, the Carthage Bulldogs had to face off against the Bulldogs of Abilene Wylie in Arlington at AT&T Stadium.

With a final score of 31-17, the Carthage Bulldogs celebrated wildly on the field where the Dallas Cowboys will be playing Sunday night! This marks the fifth state title within the last 10 years! Looks like they'll have to make more room in the trophy case at the school!

Congratulations to this hard working team - something a lot of the guys have dreamed about since playing youth football. What a way to start the Christmas break, with a CHAMPIONSHIP WIN! ETSN.fm will have a complete wrap up of the Bulldogs' winning game along with stats, pics and more!

Last night the Mineola Yellowjackets won the state title in Class 3A Division I for the first time in school history!

We're proud of our East Texas teams!
