Mariah Carey Hospitalized With Contractions

I'm sure it's a scary feeling for mom's to be to start experiencing contractions and labor pains a couple of weeks before their scheduled due date.  That's what happenened to Mariah Carey over the weekend.

She was celebrating part of her 41st birthday in the hospital yesterday.  She tweeted that she began having contractions Saturday night and went to the hospital. She continued,

Finally they said I could come home after they got it under control but they almost came on 3/27- happy anniversary in deed [sic]!!! We have a few more weeks 2 go but- wow!!! :)"

Happy Anniversary is Mariah's trademark way to refer to her birthday!  She and husband Nick Cannon are expecting twins.
