Flowers in the Attic is returning to the screen, but this time the small screen. Lifetime is remaking the 1987 film based on the Best-Selling novel by V.C. Andrews. The story of the Dollanger family will be told more inline with the novel in the Lifetime version.

The movie starring Heather Graham debuts January 18th and will tell the story of the Dollagner children who are locked in the attic in order for their mother to inherit a fortune.

“The script is faithful to the book,” says director Deborah Chow. Or, to put it more bluntly: “Will there be incest? Yes,” says Mason Dye, who plays elder brother Chris. “We stay very true to the book.”
